Submit your breakfast clubs early adopter data return

Use this form to report the daily take up (attendance) of your breakfast clubs early adopter offer during the week of 9 June 2025.

The academic year (AY) is 2024 to 2025, and you must report for the summer term only (beginning from 22 April 2025).

You must complete and submit your form by 11:59pm on Friday, 4 July 2025.

You can edit and resubmit your return until this date.

Allow up to 30 minutes to complete this form. You can save your progress and come back at any time.

Before you start

This form is only for settings that have signed up for, and been accepted onto, the breakfast clubs early adopter scheme. View the schools in the scheme (opens in new tab) to check your setting.

You must only report for primary-aged pupils. This includes children in reception through to year 6 within participating settings.

To complete your return, you will need to know:

  • the start date of both your 2025 summer term, and early adopter breakfast club
  • how many pupils attended your breakfast club each day
  • how many pupils eligible for free school meals at any time in the last 6 years (FSM6) attended breakfast club each day
  • how many pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) or who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) attended breakfast club each day
  • how many pupils planned to attend your breakfast club each day, if you have a booking system
  • about your breakfast club offer (like how it meets school food standards, duration, parent fee structure, and if you use a private, voluntary and independent (PVI) provider

Note: All pupil counts should be taken during the week of 9 June 2025 (count week), unless you have a previous agreement with DfE.
