Submit your early years entitlements data return
Use this form to report the uptake of early years entitlements for working parents and early years pupil premium (EYPP) in the 2025 autumn term. Also, report the number of children using government-funded hours for early years entitlements, including those from families receiving specific forms of additional support (formerly known as the two-year-old disadvantaged entitlement) and children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) accessing entitlements for age 2 and under.
This data return will enable the Department for Education (DfE) to record the uptake of the government-funded entitlement hours for the 2-year-old working parents entitlement, under-2s working parents entitlement and 2-year-olds and under-2s in receipt of EYPP, as stated in the DSG conditions of grant (opens in new tab) This data will be used to determine the early years DSG funding allocations for the entitlements in financial year 2025 to 2026.
View the Early years data collection for the 2025 to 2026 financial year guidance (opens in new tab) for more information.
The data collected on the government-funded early years entitlement for families receiving specific forms of additional support and children with SEND will be used for policy monitoring purposes only.
See the Early years data collection 2025 to 2026 guidance (opens in new tab) for more information.
